For the price of a £10 ticket we will offer food, a glass of wine and entertainment – Common Ground members and members of other theatre groups will be invited to perform sketches, monologues, songs and comic turns. If you would like to come, if you would like to perform or if you can help to sell tickets please call Jez and Vicky on Lincoln 826113.

Football Cards

We will be buying ‘lucky dip’ football cards for members to sell to family, friends and workmates. Jez and Vicky will be handing out the cards so expect a phone call or a visit!

Sponsorship

Su and Maurice are currently seeking corporate sponsorship for Pygmalion. From autumn 2007 we will have a co-ordinated approach to corporate sponsorship enabling us to offer an attractive package to local businesses.

Common Ground Patrons

We will soon be writing to members and supporters of Common Ground inviting them to become patrons. Our patrons will receive advance notice, tickets and programmes for all our productions and an acknowledgement in the programme of every show.

THE COARSE ACTING SHOW
20th August 2006

Though I say it myself The Coarse Acting Show at the Broadbent Theatre in Wickenby in July was great fun and thoroughly enjoyed by those who took part and by most people who saw it.

Unfortunately ticket sales couldn't match The Darling Buds of May and we did lose quite a bit of money on it - more than £800 in fact.

Nevertheless we've had some great feedback and it was good to do a real comedy for a change. For more information about the show, photographs, press reviews etc click here.

THE DARLING BUDS OF MAY
18th March 2006

Our latest production was a great success - for the first time in our short history we sold out the venue every night and the audience response seemed very favourable. This was our first visit to the Broadbent Theatre in Wickenby and I think it's fair to say that we will definitely be going back in the future. Congratulations to all concerned.

BILLY LIAR WELL RECEIVED
2nd November 2005

Our production of Billy Liar at the Millennium Festival Studio Theatre went down very well. We had a positive review in the Lincolnshire Echo, we attracted a total audience of almost 200 and we think we more or less broke even financially.

Click here to find out more about the production.
