CLOSER
by Patrick Marber
July 2012
We will be staging our first play at The Room Upstairs - formerly the Ruston Room - at Lincoln Drill Hall in July 2012.
Closer by English playwright Patrick Marber was first performed at the Royal National Theatre in March 1999.
An intense four-hander, it has drawn comparisons with Noel Coward's Private Lives, Harold Pinter's Betrayal and Les Liaisons Dangereuses in its intricate focus on the politics of four people trading partners for lust.
A 2004 film version starred Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Clive Owen.
Details of audition dates and how you can get involved are now on our news page.
